The site exists to inform prospective guests about private chef service in vacation rentals across 12 mountain markets in CO, UT, and WY, and to collect inquiries for custom proposals. Submitting an inquiry does not create a contract; a contract is formed only when you receive a written proposal from us, sign it, and submit a deposit.
All prices on the site are presented as starting points ("starting at $150 per person") to give you a sense of what to expect. Actual pricing is set in the written proposal you receive after submitting an inquiry. The proposal is the binding pricing document; the site is not.
Travel beyond 30 minutes from a city core, gratuity, sales tax, alcohol, and specialty rentals are not included in the per-person price unless specifically stated in your proposal.
A binding booking is created when you sign a written proposal and submit the deposit (typically 30 percent of total). Reschedules within 7 days of service are free if the new date is within 90 days. Cancellations within 7 days forfeit the deposit; cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the full amount. We work with guests on weather emergencies and family emergencies in good faith.
We provide private chef services to the standards described in your proposal. We carry general liability insurance and food handler certifications appropriate to each market. We are not responsible for damage to the rental property caused by acts beyond our control — a power outage, a host's faulty appliance, a guest accident, or weather. If we cause damage during service, we cover replacement at our cost.
The information on this site, including kitchen audit descriptions, sample menus, and pricing tiers, is provided for general guidance. Specific menus, kitchen logistics, and pricing for your booking are confirmed in the written proposal.
All content on this site — text, design, photographs, logos, sample menus — is the property of MileHighCook unless attributed to another source. You may share links to pages on the site freely. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish substantial portions of the content without written permission.
The site links to milehighcook.net (the flagship MileHighCook business) and to social media profiles on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MileHighCook's liability for any claim arising from your use of the site is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, unless we mutually agree to mediation or arbitration first. We're a small business; we'd much rather talk through a problem than fight one.
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
